Howard Nielsen from NAC Consulting was a pioneer in sustainable business development starting in the early 1990’s. He was an innovative user of The Natural Step and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) sustainability processes and has developed complementary tools that have had the benefit of being tried and refined. Howard has worked as CEO of a community-owned business that was listed in the top five “learning organizations” in Australia and has carried out consultancies with top echelon enterprises including Toyota, Australia Post, Queensland Treasury, Brisbane City Council, Telstra and a number of not-for profit organizations. He has worked also with dozens of small and medium sized companies and has presented at national and international conferences. He is called upon to speak regularly at sustainability forums, business networks and community events and has graduate and post graduate qualifications in management, education and sustainability.
