She is passionate about partnering with clients who are deeply connected to their purpose, guiding them on a journey to enhance their impact. Michelle thrives on the challenge of building fit-for-purpose measurement systems for diverse communities, honouring the richness of people’s experiences.
Mandatory reporting of social impact is on the horizon. With a focus on the Taskforce for Inequality and Social-Related Financial Disclosures (TISFD) Framework, Michelle will outline what we can expect and what will be required. Beyond compliance, this presentation will support leaders to set up social impact measurement systems that provide a powerful tool for governance.
Whether your organisation is large enough for mandatory reporting to apply when it first hits or not, the future is clear: organisations need to measure their impact to remain competitive, relevant and sustainable.
However, depending on how you approach social impact measurement, it can add administrative burden that merely ticks a box, OR it can deliver social intelligence on the people your organisation impacts, providing critical input into your strategic decision making.
The difference is not just in measuring outcomes vs outputs. It requires an understanding of how an organisation impacts people’s holistic state of being at an individual and system level: a wellbeing approach to social impact. It also requires leaders to look beyond the day-to-day and consider medium and long-term impact. Finally, it requires leaders to have courage. Courage to measure for understanding as opposed to promotion. The courage to learn, refine and pivot.
Instead of waiting for mandatory reporting to kick in, this presentation positions leaders to get ahead of the curve, providing a clear pathway for social impact measurement that delivers valuable insights for positive impact and sustainable business success.
As experts in social impact wellbeing measurement, Huber Social are uniquely positioned to explain the value of this approach and what it looks like in practice.
