Rakin Hasan is a Chartered Accountant and an experienced auditor with a focus on Technology & Cyber Assurance. Rakin is known for his ability to combine accounting and IT skills to successfully execute assurance and consulting engagements. He has demonstrated history of applying business acumen, risk assessment methodologies and design thinking to improve operational efficiency in various assurance engagements and innovation-based projects. Rakin pioneers on relationship building and focuses on ideating ways to support his clients on ways to innovate and grow through the lens of compliance. He spent majority of his career in the Big4 Consultancy Firms and over the years have built a strong foundation around curating and implementing audit methodologies. As an Audit professional he specialises in NFP, Financial Services, Oil & Mining, Consumer Products, Freight Haul, FinTech and Private businesses. He has experience working with businesses that have undergone the IPO process and supported the businesses to uplift their internal controls environment. Rakin is a technology enthusiast and have hands-on experience working on complex ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle. He also has experience working on cloud based applications and lead the emerging technology assurance in his previous roles. As a Chartered Accountant, Rakin has also won numerous awards including Auditor of the Year for 2023 by Accountants Daily.
