Presenters
Glenn Hardwick – CEO @ Christian Homes Tasmania
A senior executive with experience in management, leadership, corporate services,
project management and business activity reviews. Experience working with State Governments (Tasmania and NSW), Commonwealth Government and in the Not-For-Profit sectors.
Professionally, Glenn is the CEO of Christian Homes Tasmania Ltd, a not for profit aged care provider providing residential, homecare and independent living services to the elderly in Southern Tasmania. Glenn has held this position since 2019 and has turned around the finances of the organisation which is now developing a new aged care precinct comprising residential aged care, assisted living, independent living units and a Home Care program – all delivered from a single site. This substantial development will be the first of its kind in Tasmania.
Glenn is the voluntary Board Chairman of Community Transport Services Tasmania (CTST) and was previously a State Councillor for the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Glenn is the Commodore of the Montrose Bay Yacht Club.
Jayne White – Executive Officer – Governance @ Community Transport Services Tasmania
Jayne commenced her career in local government, working within the Office of the Crown Solicitor, which led to an ongoing role with the Department of Treasury and Finance. Over a five-year period, she worked for the Local Member for Derwent Valley in the Legislative Council, supporting his portfolio of State Treasurer & Minister for Racing in two separate roles across the period: Electorate Officer and Parliamentary Officer.
Following seven years in the insurance sector, Jayne relocated to Melbourne to pursue broader career opportunities. It was during this time that she began working as an Executive Assistant, most notably supporting the Chair of Herald Weekly Times / News Corp.
Upon returning to Hobart, Jayne took on the role of Executive Assistant to the Principal of a K–12 independent college before transitioning into the not-for-profit aged care sector in 2020. She joined Community Transport Services Tasmania (CTST) as an Executive Assistant and was subsequently promoted to Executive Officer – Governance in October 2023, a position she continues to hold.
Amy Finigan – Executive Assistant & Governance Officer @ Social Futures
Amy Finigan serves as the Executive Assistant and Governance Officer at Social Futures, bringing over a decade of expertise in supporting executives across a range of sectors. Renowned for her proactive mindset, meticulous organisational skills, and ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with teams and stakeholders, Amy plays an instrumental role in fostering effective board operations. Recently completing a Diploma in Project Management and currently enhancing her governance expertise through the Governance Institute of Australia’s Governance & Oversight course, Amy is committed to advancing best practices in governance. Her deep passion for governance is grounded in the belief that well-structured and empowered boards are the bedrock for driving positive social impact within organisations. Amy’s work reflects her dedication to creating ripple effects of change that extend beyond the boardroom and into the broader community.
