Jo-Ann Riley
Founder & CEO @ GovernEssence Advisory
Better Boards is pleased to present "Strengthening Impact: How a Governance Framework Improves Organisational Performance" in partnership with Jo-Ann Riley, Founder & CEO @ GovernEssence Advisory.
Strong governance is the foundation that enables organisations to operate effectively, make sound decisions and deliver on their purpose. Yet many governance systems are fragmented, unclear or overly complex which can lead to confusion around decision-making, accountability and operational alignment.
This session will look at a practical governance framework that clarifies decision-making, aligns strategy and operations, and creates the conditions for organisations to thrive.
In this session Jo will:
- explore the role of governance frameworks in strengthening organisational performance
- explain how governance principles such as consistency, currency and compliance support effective decision-making
- outline a practical hierarchy that connects policy, standards, procedures and operational tools
- highlight how clear roles, responsibilities and review processes strengthen accountability and continuous improvement
Essential viewing for board members, directors and those with governance responsibilities tasked with improving organisational performance.
